A Kid Again is a 501 (C)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing year-round, fun-filled and supportive group Adventures for Children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. We have locations in COlumbus, Cleveland, and Cincinnati, plus ours in Dayton. Our Dayton Children are referred to us from The Children’s Medical Center of Dayton and we serve them from birth to the age of twenty. Unlike traditional wish-granting groups who plan a one-time wish, we have a unique, long-term commitment to these families by organizing Adventures at least twelve times a year. Adventures one time a month gives the Children something to look forward instead of weekly and even daily medical treatments. Our goal is to help each Child we serve to become...A Kid Again.

Dayton's branch opened in 2000 and, currently, we serve 350 families! We include the entire family because the illnesses the Children are diagnosed with are a family fight. Serving families for 8 years, Dayton currently plans Adventures for 750 Children in 22 local counties. Adventures include Dayton Bombers hockey games, Wright State University basketball games, Kings Island, our large Miracles & Magic production with national headliners, the Columbus Zoo, and many others.
